Cowries is situated on Cornwalls’ beautiful north coast, just a mile outside the village of St. Merryn and only two miles from the historic harbour town of Padstow!

Two bedrooms, comprising master bedroom with king size double-bed and a second bedroom with two twin beds which can be combined to make a king size double..
Spacious Accommodation
The large living room aims to relax with a three seater sofa and two exceptionally comfortable armchairs; the dining table seats six in comfort. There is a high-chair in the cottage for younger members of the family.
Enclosed Garden
You don’t have to go far to experience the outdoors. Our large, fully-fenced, and child-safe garden means you can eat, play and relax outside, in comfort, just by stepping out the door.
High Speed Internet Access
Cowries gives you the ability to get away from it all, but if you need to keep in touch then Wi-Fi access is available. With high-speed access you can work, stream or game.
Two Bathrooms
You can never have enough bathrooms! At Cowries there’s the choice between bath with over-bath shower or the second bathroom with fully fitted double shower.
Play, Relax and Enjoy
A large selection of puzzles, books, music and DVD’s will help while away those occasional rainy days. There’s also a television with Freeview and a Blu-Ray/DVD player so that you don’t miss your favourite shows.
Self Catering
Cowries has a fully featured kitchen comprising an electric cooker, microwave, kettle, pod coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment (larger freezer in utility room) as well as the normal utensils, cutlery etc.
Seven Beaches
The wide and exceptionally sandy, Harlyn Bay – one of the safest beaches for children with every-day RNLI lifeguard attendance from May to September, is close by. Harlyn Bay and six other beaches and bays, including Booby’s and Constantine, are within a very short drive.
Utility Room
A large utility room houses the electric clothes dryer, automatic washing machine and a fridge-freezer. There’s also beach chairs, garden furniture, picnic equipment and a BBQ, all stored ready for use.
Award winning board games
Our collection of board games continues to grow, with some staples of anyone’s collection as well as some new titles. You’ll find games like Monopoly, Scrabble, Rummikub and Othello as well as Qwirkle, Fluxx, Labyrinth, Patchwork, Dobble (100 Years of Disney edition), Hanabi and Kingdomino.
